Come for the winter, stay for the summer! We’ve loved Winter Park for many years, but it wasn’t until we spent a summer in Grand Lake that we decided to build our dream house here. Drive north just past Granby, and you reach our series of lakes: Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Colorado’s deepest lake, Grand Lake. Whether you paddleboard, kayak, fish, or just hang out on the beach, there’s something for everyone on our lakes.
And explore Colorado’s #1 national park, Rocky Mountain! Entering from the west side, you can relax and enjoy the scenery without the Estes Park crowds! You’ll find great hiking inside and outside the national park, and outstanding mountain biking all over Grand County.
Back at the cabin
When you’ve finished your day of exploring, come back to enjoy your log home in the Winter Park Highlands. Play some ping pong or air hockey, relax in our eight-person hot tub, or enjoy a movie on our 65” TV.
